I constantly do this: for instance my parents can be talking about something on TV, a cooking program for example, and say they think the food is crap or terrible; I tend to personalize comments like this. Just now my dad wanted to take out the garbage and said: "There's no way to get rid of it". I'm personalizing it, thinking they want to get me out of the house. I just wondered if I'm the only one who does this?
