Well... In some areas yes. I mean the only time when I know of something new is if it's connected in someway to something I love from my childhood. Say I loved Pokemon Blue as a kid and now Pokemon Black and White are coming out next year, or I loved The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, and now we're going to have The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

However, a lot of other things going on, I don't pay attention to. Like I never watch the news for a number of reasons. All I have to know is the economy sucks because of some nimrod in the White House. But I don't like politics anyway. I don't side with either. I just vote for the person who seems less stupid.

Anyway... (sorry about that), other things I pay attention to are movies because of the help of Spill.com and TGWTG's Bum Reviews.

Ever since the anvil fell on my television I rarely have an occasion to watch TV

That act alone makes me oblivious to about 90% of current pop culture

I'm ok with that

I envy you. I don't have the strength to stop watching TV. < Negative thought I know. lol
