Direct versus Pulsed Ionto

I was reading up online about the difference in pulsed versus direct current into devices. I have a Fischer direct current.

Are the pulsed better? Do they actually work faster and last longer?

I'm not sure if it has any difference as for efficiency. I think pulsed is only used for people who cant handle the pain. At least that what I've heard.

I have used the Fischer MD-1a for years, then switched to Galvanic Stimulator pulsed unit. It makes me wonder how I survived without it. Pulsed current is way more comfortable, virtually no pain and accomplishes the same results. My machine cost me about $150. You can look up all my postings over the past several years. I documented my transition from DC to pulsed.
