Cyberbulling is Rampant

its alot easier to say certain things online and if you're a mean-spirited person then it really shows through. some people like the idea of being able to bully others anonymously because they think they can get away with it.... but then in other situations they're on their best behaviour just to keep up appearances..the internet is just a more cowardly medium for bullies to do what they do..which is treat people like shit for no reason.

Couldn't agree more with this. If they said half of the things they say on the Internet in real life, they'd either get arrested or be physically hurt.

Therefore, they use the Internet as their personal "landfill" to "express" themselves, literally trying to have some sort of "power" over people.
It serves to show with what kind of people we're dealing with: insecure and egoistical, since IMHO what you do on the Internet reflects on your personality.

Bullying reminds me of how a pack of wolves behaves in the wild. If one wolf is weak the others in the same pack will attack him and sometimes kill him in order to keep the whole pack strong. One weak link in that situation means potentially loosing out on food or territory.

Now we are supposed to be better, more humane and intelligent than animals but I disagree. Bullying is a perfect example of how humans are nothing but animals at the end of the day.

Technology as others have pointed out has made this even more insidious.
