Comfortable Speaking to yourself?

Haven't done this for a long time.

Just simple bit at lunchtime, telling myself to put the bread there... cheese there, bacon there, sauces there...

Seriously I did not! Just a though. Spooky!

I used to. In the street. My own thoughts. Not any more...

I talk to myself to help me get my thought together. I don`t see anything wrong with that I know alot of successful people who still does that. I also talk to myself to help me get my nervous up to do something.

No, I get too self conscious when talking to myself. ::p:

Yep. Good.

This might have happened to me many years ago, when I was left all by myself, not noticing the damage it might cause. Lecturing myself to prepare for things. Not schizo.

Now I have things in order.

Maybe wondering what I'd say if teaching kids how to make their breakfast...

In group therapy they said positive self talk can be really helpful. And It is for me at least. I'm not comfortable talking to myself infront of strangers or anyone for that matter but alone sure. Whatever helps, I'll give it a try.
