Its not really my style of music (as my username implies), but if I had a comment based on how I mix my music, it would be that I think the guitar may be too loud, it kind of makes the drums sound a little distant.
Out of curiosity, what do you use to record and mix the music?

Thank you guys for listening.
I'm a bit surprised that somebody actually enjoyed the track.
And thanks for your advices: it's very hard to hear what you're doing "from aside".
The quality of this... piece I agree is not perfect due to the fact that it's totally homemade and I haven't got a lot of nice gear. Plus here in Russia you don't have a lot of room for what you're doing so... I have to be really silent. It screws everything up a little. Sorry if I sound like a moaner. Unfortunately, perhaps I am.
I guess I could be a little more loud especially with singing, but... From my point of view loudness means better quality... But you know, I feel APOCALYPTICALLY stupid. When I sing, I'm sure that every neighbour is listening. And so on and so on.

Roughly speaking, the thing I used the most is the line input of my 50bucks sound interface. + a guitar and a keyboard, Cubase, a couple VST plugins (Vermillion, Superior drummer, Izotope ozone, Waves 7)

Thanks guys.
Sorry for my english.

I get what you're saying about being quiet while doing vocals, I wait until there's no one home to do vocals. Before our a/c went out, I started to record vocals in my closet, the stuff you have in your closet will really help block a lot of sound (both inside and out). Your equipment is not really any less expensive than what I use. Practice will always help more than buying super expensive stuff, how long have you been recording music btw?
I spent 60 dollars (or close to it) on a sound card, a couple hundred on an amp, a guitar, a bass effects processor, and a vocal processor. I mix songs with an old version of Acid Pro (about 60 bucks or so) and I use AVS Audio Editor to help with compression and EQ etc..(also about 60 bucks).
Shameless plug for my stuff!! I'll be polite and mention there is some profanity, but its metal so thats not unexpected.

Sorry what's a/c?
And I thought all americans have big houses. I guess you have a room, so you could soundproof it. Am I wrong?

For about 4 years maybe. Not straight.

Oh no, not all Americans have big houses. Mine is a double wide trailer, not much different than this: http://www.starksbros.com/images/homes/CANYONLAKE/32523K-0.jpg (this actually looks nicer than mine). I hate where I live and would much rather have a small apartment and be on my own.
Anyway, A/C is air conditioning, I also basically used a "sound proofing" method by recording vocals in my closet and letting clothes and boxes absorb the sound.
