Cheating life?

Been on Anti ds for over 19 years - these past 2 months I came off. Gradually things are breaking down - interest in things, talking, my body getting tired, just wanting to sleep and not wake up.

Now I kinda want to go back on them - life is easier like this. It's like zoning out of reality. I kind of feel like its wrong to go back though, maybe like taking the easy way out. I dont have enough desire without them though.

I don't think you're meant to just stop them altogether. More like a gradual way out of them, especially after being on them for nearly two decades.

Sorry you're feeling that way, though. I would maybe talk to your doctor or someone about this.

we only have our life
think of what could be after death, we dont know, and this thought is terrifying, isit worth to sacrifice the only thing we have for something unknown? and what if we are even punished for throwing away our own life?
the price isnt worth it

You wouldnt be "takign the easy way out". At least not IMO.

Antidepressants dont work for everyone, and it takes alot of fugging aroun with the type, amount, how frequently you should be taking them, ect. Sometimes they'll work and sometimes they wont. Many people will complain they dont work, that docs think thats the solution to everything, ect ect ect.

As someone who's on them, personally, id rather take a pill every day, and feel and live some semblence of a normal life, than live the way i used to. Honestly, depression can be caused by so many things, some of them not beatable/treatable without help. And it doesnt make you weak at all to seek help in the form you need.

But Mikey is right. Talk to your doctor about it. They would be way better qualified to tell you than we.

Dont give up. And keep us posted.
