cant relax.. extremely tensed.. need advice really bad

Hello,

in social situations and right now (also right now, im alone) i feel extremely tensed and i cant relax. i cant breathe very well and my legs and arms hurt just because of tension. I was really in a happy mood and suddenly the panic started to take over again, i feel extremely tensed, like nerves in my body and like i cant relax.. I dont know what to do.
This feeling is the main cause of my social anxiety, my psych tells me i experience heavy emotions, so strong that i cant relax, and that makes me feel panic, and then i start blaming myself for that. I start thinking how bad it feels and stuff, and then i make it all worse. i hold my arms and legs tensed because i cant relax.. i feel panic.. and i cant breathe well.. it hurts too

I really need advice.. :( what should i do..
it makes me feel like dying..

Yes i know what u mean. I have something like that if im alone home and no one is with me. My hands legs and whole body is tense. Like blood is not going trought and really as u say hurts. I breath heavy and i feel like my heart beat somehow faster. Is unpleasant and i dont know too what to do. Boucy and Firewalk write good advice. If u start feeling like that do some exercise. This is only one thing what is helping me.

If u exercise:

1. stop tension and blood is going nicer trought body
2. and u stop thinking so black and some happy hormones come in your head

I feel really helplessly if i start feeling this tension and beating hard. Hurts me whole body and breathing is hard. I panic also. Only one thing what was ever helping for that is make some stuff or start cleaning your room this i do sometimes this help me too. Just activity activity activity. Nothing else help if u arent able do it outside do it home. Maybe u have garden in front or behind house?=o) There could be great make some exercise.

It's mostly very late in the evening's when im having it :p but I will just run in my garden.. lil funny ::p: But maybe it does work.. however stupid it may look ;) thnx all.

Yesterday I did breathing exercises and it worked a bit :]
I will do that too now everyday.

Because I hyperventilate when i have these attacks, so i get too much C02 in my blood (or whatever:p), so I need to breathe relaxed:).

Are we just supposed to not be lazy and induce endorphins through physical exercise?
I don't want endorphins, I just want to be fine without effort. Gorsh.
Sometimes just simple stretching helps, that way it's easier to focus on your breathing.
Music can help calm you down as well. I know you like music, maybe you could sing? Doing something you love could take your mind off of it? That is, if you're not in a social setting.
If you are, I know the only thing that helps me, in an immediate social situation where I feel tense, is focusing on relaxing my muscles, thoughts and then ignoring all anxiety and negative thoughts the best I can.

You are right why we must be all the time do it stuff and dont be like others what lazy lie and they dont care about those things as we do. I wanna too lie lisen beuatiful music dont have tensions and strange thoughts in my head. I love lisen music actually i walk all the time with some music in my ears outside coz i wanna little relax outside this is only one natural thing what is helping me outside little but not enough. But home i lisen too a lot but anyway dont helps me for tensions and bad breathing. I must do some exercise or work something home to rid of tensions and heavy breathing,ok after exercise i heavy breath too or cleaning but i feel little more relaxed if i seat only and im alone i feel stressed and tensed. And my hands hurts. Yes this focusing on muscles what are tensed by me was working little too but not much just anxiety is outside always winning i dont know what to do with that. Im so intimidated outside like small rabbit with out protection.

I know is funny run to the garden hihi but better as have unstopable tensions. I hyperventilate too if have it. And whatever is going trought my body isnt pleasure in that time really unpleasant and sometimes im so despair i dont know what do about it. I wanna to be relaxed with out exercise why just this must be only way how to get this damnn happy endorphins to my head. But you love music with whole heart u can also sing and relax by beuatiful tones by your guitar this is amazing. If this help u atleast u must no sweated run trought the flat or garden,3left is right.Necessary i dont find out nothing else as exercising or fyzic work home wich make me relaxed little more. I love music but isnt helping me at all.

Flowergirlie, when do you last eat (and what?) and when does this happen? Maybe you are already hungry? I sometimes get hungry late at night... It helps me to eat or drink something...

Tension or leg cramps or anxiety can happen because of lack of magnesium or any other good minerals/vitamins..

If you're not allergic/sensitive to milk, maybe a nice cup of cocoa can relax you? Cocoa has magnesium, and milk has calcium, they both relax you and work as 'anti-stress' hormones...
(I drink cocoa without sugar, just pure cocoa+milk, because sugar destroys good vitamins/minerals.. Soda pops like Coca cola or Coke, caffeine or alcohol, or even white bread destroy good minerals too..)
(Cocoa has some caffeine too, so don't drink too much.. it can make you stay up at night too..)

If you just drink too much milk, you may have too much calcium, and then you can have too little magnesium... So you need something with magnesium (but chocolate makes me go yo yo so I advise to stay away!!:))

You can find a list of other foods with magnesium online... Maybe some lettuce/salad or spinach lasagna would be nice in the evening too? Or pumpkin seeds to nibble?

opinions on wholewheat grains differ, some may be okay, it may also depend if they are organic or not, ctds.info warns against too much wholewheat grains, this may also depend on individual's issues/health conditions...

Do you take any vitamins? Which ones and when? What about meds, do you take any and when?
Some multivitamins can have too little magnesium or some other stuff.. Some meds can decrease magnesium or other vitamins too, or may have some side effects..

Yeah it's kind of funny, But I will try whatever to get ridd of these things ::p: (Okay, don't think wrong, I will NEVER try drugs or alcohol to reduce my anxiety, don't worry) Btw, you don't need a diagnose to know that U are going through hyperventilation, You just know it, if you know you can't breathe very well sometimes, Like experience a panic attack, caused by a wrong breathing technique. Exercising is a good thing, today I did a lot of exercising, well not really exercising but I did lots of cleaning in the house, like dust sucking loll (don't know the word in english:p) and so many things, my dad was happy when he came home :D (my mom is on holiday so I have to run the house cleaning) Hmm, well music is my LOVE, but still it doesn't make me feel relaxed when I experience such a attack, Sometimes I even can't enjoy it, because I can't enjoy the sounds, because I need to relax.. Relax, is for me a calming sound, that's why I love the woods, I love forest rain , but some eastern music could help me feel better :). But depends how relaxationable the music is.. No hardcore please ::p:, But most of songs I can't listen to, because it makes me feel worse:p. But watching a comedy works for me, It makes me feel distracted, forget the position i'm in, and then I feel good because I totally forgot about it, and I can relax again=). Because the bad feelings are gone :]. Also Showering works for me, or take a bath. But still it's very hard to get out of these things, Because it's such an issue, like you feel it, and you have to ignore it. That's the hard part of it. Like when you experience stomach ache or headache, You still feel it, but yeah that's why distraction is such a good thing :]

in the past i was having an eating disorder, i still have issues with that sometimes, so yeah. i think you have a point here. :]
It's not because I care about losing weight, it's just because i don't take care of it enough like not eating in the mornings , or afternoons. :-/
I still have those moments, baaad.. i know :p

but i should take more care of it.. i do care about it, sometimes i make lists of what i should eat and do more.. so im making progress :)

i dont take vitamins, maybe i should :p . but i do eat fruit :)

magnesium, hmm i once did a blood test, its good, they told me.. so i dont know..

but maybe i should eat more fruit xD

Hehe LOL sucking dust this i will exactly write in english some funny think like u exactly did and u make me smile thank u for that but i was looking translator and for this is using word hoover u mean like haha i still smile sucking dust. Nevermind im the last who should correct your english because i have almost in every my posting some gramatic mistakes i let u only know coz some one can take this sucking like sucking something u know what i mean...opsi=) dont think im nasty but u guys are only guys hmm yeah ok. Exactly if i do something what i like watching movie or lisening music, i cant relax as well completely as u write u cant enjoy sound of music because u arent relaxed. I feel tension in my fingers even in the last bottom of smallest part on my hand =// Great is watching comedy works for you for me too but better if someone yet watch with me but sometimes i to relax by it must be not comedy can be some really interresting movie what take me with far far away of reality. Showering is also great but only for little while later if im out and alone i again start feel panic. And like it this sentence of yours:

This is true. Maybe i will try more this vitamins and fish oil i was hearing is good to drink or eat fishes if u like them. Fruit is also great. I think vitam b could little help us=)
