attend 1st AA meeting, doubt I'll be going back.

After the first 10 minutes have passed, all I could think about was getting out of there when it was over. It was a large group. I had a difficult time hearing what most people were saying. it really sucks being partially deaf, and YES I do wear hearing aids. They can only help so much.

I started getting bored and distracted wth other thoughts. I wasn't feeling any anxiety. Just boredom because I wasn't able t hear barely much of anything

that really sucks crazygirl... u were unlucky.. AA helped me back then, and though the higher power/sponsor and some other steps i didn't follow, it worked for me.

Hopefully u attend a smaller group or a one with a better room where its more audible.. goodluck
