Are you fussy?

I don't know about everyone else, but when I'm buying simple stuff e.g. t-shirt, shoes, I get so indecisive over making my choice. Its almost as if I'm looking for the 'perfect' choice of item in my mind and get very bogged down with the choice on offer. This week, I've been trying to buy myself a mouse mat, yet I still haven't, because I can't make up my mind! I mean I'm only going to need it to put my mouse on for goodness sake, and its not as if I'm buying a new car!

Does anyone else have the tendency to overthink when buying new stuff?

Yes,im hopeless at shopping.I spend far to long looking at the items then rethinking, try the item on then think it over again! can never make my mind up if i really want something.Thats why i leave most of the shopping up to my mother as shes much better :p

Decided what food, cloths, games etc is a hard task for me but soon enough i wont have much choice other than to do it my self, not a bad thing as im getting to the stage where this house alone is enough to depress me and i want to break freee heh.

Thankfully I dont have this problem. If I have to buy something I can be in and out real quik, unlike most ladies I know.

I went to three different stores looking for a small trash can for my room after my old one broke. It couldn't be too small (my old one was too small, and my dog always pulled the used tissues out), but I didn't want one that was too big either. I wanted either a black or pink one, but it couldn't be just a plain plastic black one. I finally settled on a black metal wire one at sears after not seeing any I liked at walmart or lowes.

I can be fussy too especially if I was buying clothes which I haven't for a long time as there isn't a point but yes it could often be a difficult decision.

I am so fussy. Buying anything is a nightmare. I had to choose some new glasses a few days ago. This was so embarassing. I was there for ages trying on different pairs. I just couldnt make my mind up. The assistant came over afew times and asked if i was alright. I just said yes and carried on looking(after going red)

And its weird because i went shopping today for clothes or a new top for winter and all the staff were gorgeous and outgoing and loud, i didnt feel uncomfortable at all but it can be intense when people approach you and want to talk all the time, i feel the pressure of coming across as witty and interesting, i always feel the strain if they dont look happy with my response or if i wasn't funny enough, i just walk away beating myself up, maybe i shouldn't be so harsh on myself and just see it as a chance to practice my conversational skills and ways of expressing myself, i think we're all too harsh on ourselves most of the time.

I've not bought clothes for a year!!!!

I see something I like then start to weigh it up, end up talking myself out of the purchase

or buy it, take it home, think "NO" then take it back again :?
