I just cant because I keep checking whtas going on around me so i cant focus on the road. The worst is when somebody sits behind and they check you in the rearview mirror!! hotdamn

I'd hate to drive with SA. Seems like a nasty fella. I'd probably push him out of the car

I get a little nervous but after a while its not so bad. Now, getting my license, THATS a different matter. I can't seem to stay calm during the driving test so I usually miss the mark by a few points. So I haven't really driven for a while and I keep putting off my license cause I dread the driving test.

I don't really need to drive anyway. My job is just on the other side of my block so I just walk anyway.

Driving

I have absolute no problem driving. I am actualy fairly good at it.
Anyway am usualy alone in my car so its like my safe refuge.

I like the small confined spaces that cars offers.

Haven't really had a problem with it since I was maybe 16-17. Even then it wasn't the driving but the instructor/my mother constantly criticizing me. I know that's the instructor's job, but it was heavy pressure, and my mother can't drive worth shit. My dad would just read the newspaper and leave me alone when he was drivin with me, much better.

Now I love driving, mostly because I'm by myself. Hell, its one of the best parts of my day.

Same here. Not sure my issues are related to SA or anything though. I just don't pay attention and am not confident enough. I keep failing my test but get better each time. I've never been diaqgnosed with SA but I think I have it. I've been reading about it and all. If I want help I need to see a doctor I guess. I was just at the doctor recently though wouldn't want to bug them. Anyway.

S.A. doesn't affect my driving much, although it is weird when I catch people looking at me at the stop light. But then I can peel out a second later, so it's all good.

Driving is probably my second favourite thing, after the PC. If it wasn't for the car, I probably wouldn't go out of the house (and I don't do it very often too).
When I'm driving I feel comfortable inside the car and I don't give a damn who is in the car in front, back or side, I never look at their faces. I only see "cars with people inside (probably, lol)" and not "people with cars".
But I feel nervous in certain situations, of course, like parking in a tight spot or when the car doesn't feel at 100%.
In general I feel confident and I have a lot of experience with my car so I drive it "faster" than I should. I like "free roam" and to drive alone, because I don't have to worry with a pleasant driving style, I just "drive". :p

I was really nervous years ago when I was starting my driving lessons. But after that first year, driving it's been a great thing to me.

I hate driving. The only time I liked it was when I was with people I was comfortable around, but it's that way with everything with me. I just think too much when I'm alone, like what would I do if I got in an accident? then I'd have to have contact with all these people, police, court, insurance. Or if I got a ticket, I'd have to deal with a police officer. I couldn't handle any of that alone. So I don't do it, unless absolutely necessary.

I like to listen to the radio while driving to relax or as a distraction. I get quite paranoid at the idea of people watching me from other cards, but it helps if you just don't look at them and focus on a song instead.

I like driving, but I do get very anxious while doing it. I am constantly looking in my rearview mirror wondering if I'm going fast enough for the person behind me, etc. I'm also always paranoid about the person behind me rear-ending me, and then driving off, so I will start memorizing people's license plate numbers and the color and make of their car.

I just got my licence a few weeks ago. Its hard to say if SA affects my driving. Maybe it does when I speed up when someone is behind me or maybe when I change lanes to let someone through even when there is no need to.

Oh, and here's a story! One time when I was driving on the highway a cop pulled up behind me, and he was really tailgating me, so I got all nervous and started to go faster, and the bastard pulled me over! That is seriously a true story. I almost felt as though I had been tricked. Like I would have been fine and would have been driving a normal speed if he didn't just come up right on my ass like that, making me all nervous. I think he was really just looking to pull someone over then though, because when he came up to my window he didn't say the routine, "do you know how fast you were going?" He just asked for my license and registration, went back to his car to write up my ticket, then handed me the ticket and took off. It was strange, as if he really was just going through his routine and he had to fill his quota of speeding tickets for the day.

Also, the ticket was for $250! WTF?! Although, luckily one of my uncles is a cop, so he may be able to fix that for me so that I won't have to pay. This just happened a few months ago, so I haven't heard back for sure yet whether or not I will have to pay.

Uhh, okay, end of story time. The moral: Stop worrying about what the person behind you is thinking of you and just drive at a speed you are comfortable with! And yeah right, as if I'm actually able to live by that. I still get all nervous when people get close behind me, and I end up picking up my speed.
