anyone else obsessed with hair gel?

well I'm really obsessed with styling products. I tried a lot but none seemed to keep my hair "wet" as I want to.
now I'm thinking to try professional products from londa. anyone else experienced in this area?

I turn 46 this week.

I'm lucky to have enough hair to still need a comb, let alone anything else.

Never tried hair gel. The feeling of my hair being covered in a slimy substance all day has too much of an ick factor for me.

Hair shine

I hate it when people make their hair look wet! I also want to make my hair look shiny, or like it has volume in it. I usually don't need anything to make it look big, but I do put hair shine in it, and yes it's never shiny enough .
