any houstonians active on the site?

hey all, after lurking on this site for a couple of weeks i've just been wondering if there's any active users who are in the houston area, and i've searched all over the forums for this to see if this has already been suggested but i've had no luck, so for those residing in houston, what would you all think of meeting up somewhere in houston? because the way i see it, it'll be a good way for those new to houston, and otherwise, to meet others who have something significant in common, and will have an opportunity to practice/break out of their shell by socializing with individuals who are coping with the same thing you are.
let me know what ya'll think, and if this has been suggested before and anyone can provide a link to that, that would be appreciated too, tia
