Anxiety and Thyroid?

I got a bloodtest at the doctor a couple weeks ago because she wanted to check my thyroid to see if that was causing my anxiety. I got a call back, and she said my thyroid level was a little low. I'm going to a specialist at the end of next month for another test. Do any of you have anxiety because of thyroid problems?

Well, I've heard that anxiety is generally caused by low levels of tyrosine, which is an amino acid that aids in the synthesis of certain hormones produced by the thyroid, so it's a possibility.

I've always suspected that I am a little hypothyroid-y because I have food intolerances to the foods that are always linked to direct thyroid damage, and I have some of the symptoms. So probably! And adrenals, important to check also.
