annoying parents

i just took some tousers out my wardrobe put em on my floor my dad come sin a starts ranting u live in a pit, i said its my room i can leave it how i like he sais ITS MY HOUSE you live in it to my standards and then he said Ur sat ther playing games u leave mess here

i literally took the jeans out and put em on the floor like 5 mins ago and he sais i playing games when im just browsing the internet

just an example they do my head in but they're ok i suppose

Some parents assume that, because it's their family, they have a right to do what the heck they want, like they have some sort of power over everyone. I knew a lot of adults like that in my family and elementary and high school. They thought they have the right to abuse kids only because they were older (a kid is a human too, not an object of their property, they often failed to understand that). I always hated that dominant, arrogant behavior.

Yeah, it's a control thing. That is how I see it for a lot of parents.

My mom is completely overbearing. She calls me like 20 times a day and it completely
frustrated the hell out of me.
