Hello.

I deal with hyperventilation, I wake up with chest pain, I go to bed with chest pain. I don't know how to breathe well, this is the trigger for my anxiety happening in social situations. I know, when I'm able to relax my body, I can even might overcome SA. (with the right positivity in mind), But I don't know how to feel relaxed. Right now, I can't breathe, this happens to me so much, like almost every day. I feel like I can't breathe. Don't worry, it's not dangerous cuz it's happen so much, but Still, It's the most horrible feeling in the world.
What should I do..... :(

I need really good techniques to relax... But I try to inhale slowly and exhale much out.. But it makes me even more stressed.. I wish I could get this hyperventilation away :(

help please:(
 
Not sure. I do not get panic attacks. You say hyperventilation. Are these two similar?

Wake up, breath in deep for 2sec, push down to lower lungs, hold 5sec, exhale 5sec. Repeat 4 times.

4x more before workouts and 4x more after.

4x more before sleep.

And use whenever you need to centre yourself? Again, not sure, I do this.
 
Saskia, your breathing has been a theme in many of your posts. Sial's technique is very good, I think you should get some physiotherapy to develop this and practice, practice, do every day until it is natural. I have a feeling that a good breathing technique is a golden key in your recovery. Perhaps you could associate it with your singing.
