The problem with society is that we all need to be right.
We know we are right. Our beliefs are higher than those of the opposing parties. That is why world peace will never be possible. No one will completely agree with another on all topics.
It is the same here at social phobia world. We spend our time debating each other as though we are solving our problems by bickering like school children. Really! What are we doing?
Call me a hippie. Call me a socialist. But we have some major problems here. We don't want to find a consensus, we just want to be correct, at all costs, who cares whose ego gets hurt? Who cares who feels rejected? Who cares who feels left out?
Debate is an important part of life, I don't dismiss that fact. What I find so hurtful is that we refuse to see each other's view points and agree to diasagree.
Some people say we should not discuss suicide as that it is disgusting. Others say we should die and be free.
Some say we should get on with it, others say we need steady progress.
If some of you are only interested in being correct and not interested at all in the true freedom of steady debate, then why are we bothering?
