Afraid to show my face in public

I have a very reduced facial expression because of severe depression. I'm terrified when people see my face. What should I do, just ignore it? But my face is scary, I'm extremely extremely depressed and people would freak out... I freak out myself when looking in the mirror.....

I'm not too pretty to look at either, but don't let your appearance prevent you from going outside..if people stare it's THEIR problem, not yours! You can't be to blame for the way you look...can I ask a question? You say you get frightened when you look yourself in the mirror..the first step in anything really is to love yourself, in all aspects, including your appearance..the way you look is what makes you unique..it's your identity and you should be proud of that..just give people a scowl if they 8O

What is your question to me? I get frightened because I appear dead, no emotions in my facial expression except deep pain..

The whole thing is at the eyes area...

You can't not notice now but it's probable that your eyes and even your forehead (nerves inside), are being contracted.

Why I know that?

When I do hipnosis (Paul Mkeena's Self Confidence audio).
I feel my eyes area and forehead relaxing.

I undertand you very well, and the worst is when someone you neither meet, asks you if you have any problem or makes any commentary to someone else, such as: this girl has to be in a trouble or has a problem.
That happened to me.
I think you should go out and open your eyes to look at people and pretend to be very interesed in them. That´s what I do.
Good luck!

I can relate, I think. I have very limited expressive ability with my face or words. There is a tendency to avoid talking with people because I can only fake the interest for a short time.

Yes, it's hard to be happy, when you feel awful.

And if you feel like i do, you'd be to ashamed/embarrased to go outside.

It sounds awful just writing it down.

I know i need to go out and do things, but i hate having to do it.
