I wouldn't say acne in itself causes anxiety, it's the fact that if your a kid with acne & the other kids bully or tease you about it then it's that which can trigger the anxiety.
That's what happened to me, acne runs in the family, both my brother & sister had it as well & I was bullied alot all through school because of my acne, add on top of that my stutter & well lets just say my school years certainly weren't the best years of my life that's for sure!
