I believe that our anxiety is a false alarm in the brain trying to help us. It was learned a long time ago in the past. So I have found it helpful to mentally (and verbally if you'd like) to constantly and relentlessly tell yourself something like, "screw this, this anxiety is not helping me." If we truly understand this fact, that this worry and self-consciousness in NOT helping us whatsoever, perhaps we can switch the brain's belief pattern and start the path to freedom.
Just something that has helped me.
Just something that has helped me.
