A Meet Up for SA

I found a group in my area that meets up. All members are either shy or have SA. Im afraid that some of the members are more shy than actually have SA.

They meet up at Cafes and places like Dave and Buster. That already makes me super nervous.::(:

Back to the point, have any of you joined such a group or used meetup.com to find out if there are groups out there like this one?

I signed up for a zoo meet up. There will also be one at a cafe on Aug 13, but I'm not quite sure if I am ready for that.

Who wants to meet at the Reading Oracle - shopping centre and restaurants?

Pretty handy if you're within 50 miles of RG1 2AG - London, South Coast, M4, M3, M5, M25 or M1 motorways?

I'm happy with two of us, or any more. I don't know any real SA people yet!

Oh. If you don't like crowds, I live 5 mins away, with free parking, and close to the station.

i tried to organise one for my area on this forum, sadly it didn't gain enough interest for it to go ahead...im not sure why tbh, i live in a big enough city and SA is a widespread problem...i only had only one pvt msg about it, and one posting on the forum to say they would attend...but to get back to the question, yes i would go to one if there was one to go to.

For someone who doesn't have SA, so to speak. I would only feel like an outsider in a group of people who could put themselves under their own banner, I don't think I belong anywhere :)
