You need not feel embarrassed about your blogs. To express yourself in words the way you did was touching. I would like to have your ability to convey mayself as you do. Well done! :D

I've wanted to make more videos for a few days now; but my mum hurt her back and hasn't left the house at the usual times. I only feel comfortable making vids if I'm alone in the house - the walls are thin and my parents would hear every word I'm saying.

Just wanted to give you a big applause, well done SqueakyGibson!!! :D

I really fell in love with the song on the video, so although it might be slightly off topic, would you (or anyone who knows) care to tell me who the artist is, and the name of the album? Please...? :)

It sounds like Aimee Mann. Unsure about the song title.

The song is 'It's Not' by Aimee Mann from Lost in Space.

SqueakyGibson, you are absolutely adorable.

Thank you so much cLavain and Maude_lynn!! To be honest I have never heard of her before...
So cLavain do you happen to know if they sell her albums here?

Aimee Mann is one of my favourite musicians. I first heard of her when she did most of the songs for the film "Magnolia." Her albums are:

"Whatever" - quite poppy and early-90s.
"I'm With Stupid" - probably her rockiest album.
Magnolia soundtrack - her sound is more mature now.
"Bachelor No. 2" - my favourite album, her sound has matured and the songs are deep.
"Lost In Space" - a bit too downbeat and miserable. The song on my video is from this one.
"The Forgotten Arm" - a return to form, but each song is just part of a story that spans the whole album.

Should be available to buy online and in all big shops.

"All the perfect drugs and superheroes
Wouldn't be enough to bring me up to zero."

Thats great info, thank you guys!! :)

Hmmm...I'm considering The Forgotten Arm album myself as it's really cheap (+ 30 kroner in freight costs).

Wow, that was really cheap! Unfortunately the album I crave, 'Lost in space' (which btw is a very fitting description of our ongoing evo-discussion  ) was of the more expensive kind. (which means no dinner for the next few days...) But it'll be worth it I think...:)

Ok, so I have another question which is even more off topic...(sorry)
I have been searching, for quite a while now, to find a computer-programme to make subtitles. So if you would care to tell me what kind of programme you use in your videos (or if anyone has suggestions) I would be very happy!

He uses windows movie maker I think. So if you have Windows XP then you should have it - go start > all programs > accessories > windows movie maker lnk.

But if you resent Windows. Macintosh should have one bundled too I think. I once used it at school but I got no idea what it's called.

It's not that easy to learn those things though if you have never done any video editing before - they're may not be the most user-friendly programs, they got their own lingo etc.

And I'm sure there are _tons_ of free software out there. If you search for "free/open source video editing software" you might find literally _tons_ of them - careful of virus/malware though.. good luck!

You _are_ going to make a video blog right? :D

I have Windows Media Center, so I guess it should be included in that version as well. I'll check it out. :)

That's a great tip, I will give it a shot and see what pops up. Anyway, thanks a bunch!! :D

Ah...well as I have no ambition to make peoples lives a living nightmare, I don't think that would be such a good idea... LOL! :p
