Excactly it is the irrational fear of doing something "wrong" in from of a person we know that makes you have the anxiety.

When you are out of town then the chances of bumping into one you should know very little

I have this unique side kick with me. His name is Murphy. When I want to get away he steps in. What's his favorite saying? 'If anything can go wrong, it will.'

Last vacation, attempted to simply go to Niagara Falls. Nope. Needed to shell out cash for the car which took a long time to fix.

Vacation before that, caught the flu or cold or both.

I do not dare spend the time and energy or cash on a lengthy trip to somewhere great and freeing. Murphy will be there.
