SA Jobs

I'm looking for some ideas for jobs/careers that don't have a whole lot of socializing involved so I work at least until I get some of the anxiety under control. Thanks.

work in receiving at any large store, its just you, paperwork, boxes, dimlights, and a big storage room with a few other people.

the pay is not good, and i only did a job like that for a short time, so i dont know that much about it, but it seemed good for sa, i've heard the post office is a good place for asocial people to, but then there's that expression, going postal, i dont know

I do voluntary work in a ecology park, it just involves working outside with a small group of people looking after the park. Only thing is I don't get paid. ::(:

Anything with computers. You're usually working as a team, but it's not the end of the world 'cause they're all geeks who have things in common with you, so at least you have things to talk about and it helps with your SA.

I agree with this. It works for me.

I still need to find a part time job, but I always feel inadequate because employers always want someone who is really outgoing or has a lot of experience and I am lacking in both of those areas.

Making jewelry was good. I pretty much got to make things and didn't really have to talk to people much. I moved though, so I had to quit.

And the only other job I've had was an art model, which doesn't involve much talking either, so if you don't mind hanging around naked in a room full of clothed people staring at you, that job's not so bad either. Plus, I didn't have to do a job interview! Just paperwork.

How did you manage to do that when you have SA?

Say what? Are you serious?
