New Year Resolutions

Okay, so ever since 2006 or so I've been threatning to make New Year's Resolutions, but I never follow through with them. The whole commitment to oneself and losing weight and meditating and growing into a healthy mind and body thing? I wish I had the strength and the willpower. It's annoying when you can't do things for yourself and rely on things like love and so forth.

So anyway, what are your resolutions for 2009?

I wrote these down like a month ago when I was really really bored. Anyways...

-recite alphabet backwards
-learn easy words in new languages
-watch more movies
-walk backwards through house
-exercise & dance
-watch different tv channels, like spanish channels, soap operas, and discovery
-become computer-literate
-juggle
-write poetry
-use opposite hand to do things
-perform yoga, pranayam
-attempt a card house
-make an indoor obstacle course :p
-balance books on head
-read wikihows

Most of these are really stupid, but I'll probably get around to doing most of them with all the time on my hands...I prefer not to think about the trivial things (when I need to start conquering SA).

To be honest, I think I've given up on making any New Year's resolutions..I've made so many in the past, most of which haven't come true. Just take it as I go along..

1. Be less angry about things.

2. Continue my recent pizza-making habit. Find the correct proportions of ingredients to use so that the crust gets baked all the way through before burning the cheese. Also, it would be neat to get good enough to toss the dough in the air to stretch it out like those guys in the pizza parlors do.

3. Get a cable modem. Dial-up sucks.

4. Re-establish some of the good habits I've picked up but dropped over the past few years. I had at one time managed to lose 20 pounds just by eating better, without having to starve myself. Of course I've gained that all back but I know I can lose weight that way, since I've already done it once. Also, get back to writing more.

5. Be more aware of the thoughts going through my head when I'm attempting to have a conversation with someone. I have absolutely no idea if this will do me any good, but it's probably useful somehow.

6. Try to get to bed earlier. Ha ha.

Let's see,

1. I want to lose like 30 pounds
2. finally get my drivers license
3. Having one friend would be nice, but I doubt I will be ever able to do that lol.

I also want to sleep on a rooftop, but I don't think that belongs here. Don't ask why.
