  • and they burst out laughing and said "YOUR IN IT!" lmao. Ok I was a little too drunk then but it was just after Christmas and my mates birthday and I was a little down so needed a good time. Something to make you laugh right there. I know I sound like a big drinker...but I actually am not! I go on and off it though lol. (right I seriously suggest we stick to messages and / or emails, this limit is too low for insane typers! :p)
way too big post has to be two! over 2000 words lol! >>
I'd love to travel the world if I had the money and time. Hopefully if I get this job I will be able to afford it though I'd much rather get a house first then travel buttttt I could die any moment so maybes travel is best first and house later lol. I don't really see how art can be hot or anything, never have lol, unless you picture them as real people or picture someone you know wearing their clothes etc lol. ""THERE IS NOT A PERSON INSIDE THIS SUITCASE"" LMAO! love it haha, noooo you never seen me so don't lie, though when I was there I was so drunk my friends bought me a pint of coke to look after me and try sober me up but they told me it was what I ask for "JD and Coke!" I said to them WHOA!! you get it in pints here! lmaoooo, they where laughing there heads off at me, told me the next day and I couldn't stop laughing. I also said "ohhh when are we going to the pub that is like a boat?!!!"...
Ahahaha! Sorry again, with the wall mess up I did not notice you where talking to me, and just noticed 2 more posts from you to me lol, many posts is fine I love talking :) I have quite a bit of artwork I have produced, proud of a few, maybe show you in email one day :p I only use Photoshop so far, no need for anything else yet. I unfortunately can not draw as good as I would like to and don't really do it anymore, more web stuff now. Wow, you have been around, weird when did you return from Greece, I went there in May! for a holiday :) it was amazing! quite weird too as my first holiday away without family and had not been on holiday since I was 18 before Greece so was a long time, definitely needed the holiday...
Haha yes go you! well done on posting on my wall again hehe :) hmm not really sure, haven't slept good since as far back as I can remember, which is around 14 when it got seriously bad I think lol. I just can't sleep sometimes, it gets very bad but then some nights I will be asleep for ages. I have tried all sorts of things minus any pills or anything like that, don't believe in that and will never do it. One problem is I don't like sleep very much, like to be awake living life, you know?! sleeping is so unproductive lol. I am going to sort it out though, even if it means only sleeping a few hours a night, I want to make it so it's constantly the same routine every night. Sorry you had a pants (haha can't believe someone knows that word on here!) first night. Ohhh I like the last part, I'll definitely stick with you if you can fix all my problems but I don't think you realise just what you have let yourself in for because even I don't understand most of my problems haha! :)
Aww, yeh it must suck to move back home once you have moved out but think of all the money you will save, get to have more cash for your trip! :D I really want to move out as well but can not afford it yet unfortunately! it's raining a lot here too! My day has been ok, very tired though as my sleep is worse than ever! Hows yours other than the stress of moving back hehe
Hey sorry didn't notice you replied, because for some reason it's gone on your own wall thing not mine lol. Ah I like how determined you are :) Dnt worry about it I have no idea where anything is lol, everyone laughs at me because of it but I don't care haha :) It's not far from you at all though!
PS- Sorry for the numerous posts,i find it hard to say things in only 1000 words!!!
Which games are you into at the moment? Grew up with a 'gaming' brother and I love hanging out watching lads play games- and will get involved myself every now and again if there are some hot female/anime characters I can play that can kick someone else' bum! There are some seriously fit women drawn in that art style dontcha think?
Anyhow, we will get a suitcase for you to come on and will cover it in manga artwork and write in big letters "THERE IS NOT A PERSON INSIDE THIS SUITCASE"
That way, no-one will ever suspect a thing....
I took some time out a few years ago and went and stayed in some youth hostels, including London, where I went round getting some fantastic shots and just having fun editing at home again afterwards
Yeah, I have definitely seen you in Leeds before, you were the drunk fella weren't you(!?!?) Guess that accounts for most of Leeds' population then. I used to go out in town when 17/18 but then moved to Manchester for three years for uni and I much preferred going out there- really diverse and something for everyone!
Straight after uni I worked in Greece so being back in Leeds for me has never quite felt like 'home' and I am ready to go travelling again
Do you have any artwork you have produced that you are particularly proud of? The Leeds Art Musuem is one of my second homes- although I am not practical in terms of producing my own work I love spending time looking at sculptures, paintings and exhibitions. Leeds Art Musuem has some pretty modern stuff and always worth a look every now and again
What software do you use for your design?

i think you are the yin to my yang- when I was learning Flash/Photoshop I just enjoyed anything where I got involved with the coding again and although I enjoy manipulating images in Photoshop I don't produce my own designs. Quite a lot of people on my course use Fireworx and are like yourself, much more visual and artisitically gifted
My degree was actually in Journalism and Broadcasting where I worked in sound camera, editing, directing etc and I love editing footage I have shot on my computer, so I like working with moving images.
    Hey Sora
Sure you can come in my suitcase to Japan -would be an amazing adventure!
I reckon it will be late 2012/early 2013 when I go out there (notice i say WHEN i go, not IF- this dream is going to happen!) I'm not worried about the cash at the moment, i will pay my way in bananas if I have to (I'm sure that must pass as currency somewhere in the world...)
I must confess I have just had to look up Hartlepool to see exactly where it was- Geography never was my strongest point but I blame my teacher at GCSE level for just getting us to draw pretty pictures and colour things in all the time...
However, drawing pretty pictures and colouring them in would be pretty fun for you though on the design side of things!
Ohhh hello Vixen! You sound like you know more about the programming side than I do, my mind hates programming I never seem to pick it up as easily as designing :( I love anime and games but not massive fan of xmen (don't hurt me!! :p) That sounds amazing I hope you get enough cash, do you know how much you need? (with programming you will have it in no time!). Ohhh Leeds! I am close, Hartlepool! I have visited Leeds a few times in the past 2 years to visit friends, hope you never seen me when I was there as I was very drunk lol. Very nice to meet you, can I come to Japan with you (you can sneak me in a suitcase, a big suitcase hehe)
Oh yeah, it is brilliant! hah. Maybe the best in that they had to think about the actual tunes more. Since they didn't have the graphical power of today.

I noticed you mention dreamcast below. Ive never had one of those. Do you think they're worth getting still? Ive wondered what they're like before.

Also have you ever had a Sega Saturn?
That intruiged me because I saw that the first Tomb Raider, (and maybe oter ps1 games?) Was also lesed on it. I always wondered what it'd be like to play that version hah. Some peeople seem to say its better on that in some way. Like that it had better graphics or something. Anyway I don't know......yet hah.

Yeah thats exactly what Ive felt the whole time about the wii. Its only the Zelda thats intruiged me. Would be esier for me if they released it on the GC hah. But that won't happen ha!

    Anyway, hope you are well!
    Hey Shenmue

I have to admit it was 'SoulCalibur' that did it for me on the DreamCast. I thought the game was revolutionary at the time. Beautiful to look at but I found the handling of the game was brilliant and unlike anything I had ever played before. Fantastic

@thor = I LOVE the game music found in 80s games, I get a tingle up my spine when I hear a series of well orchestrated 'beeps' on a machine.

Not a big fan of the Wii as I see it aimed mainly at a younger market but I have seen someone playign Zelda and it does look mighty fine
Ah, awesome! Ive never had a megadrive yet sadly, but I still plan to get one sometime tleast in my head hah), awsel as a nes and snes maybe hah. But I have a sega mastersystem plus hah. But only with the 2 built in games it cae with (super hang on and safari hunt hah).
Those 80s ones I think have some of the best game music to this day! hah.

Ah yes, humour is good! hah.

    Nice!
I mostly still play a few N64 and PS1 games. Like Zelda, Tomb Raider (still yet to complete hah), Spryo, Crash, Metal Gear and wrestling games. But I also play gamecube sometimes too, on that I like Eternal Darkness, and the Zelda for it. I'm contemplating getting a wii even though I haven't been too interesed in much for it. But Just so I can play the NEW Zelda hah
Alreet there fella- thanks for replying, still getting to grips with how to use the forum. I am a retro gamer and love anything early 90's or late 80's. Would like to build up a collection including a SpectrumZX, Atari ST, Sega MegaDrive etc. Have replayed my Sierra and LucasArts games numerous times. Good ol' point and click Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, Day of the Tentacle, Beneath a Steel Sky, Space Quest etc

I think I just like something with a bit of sense of humour!

I love watching people play anything with fantasy creatures as am interested in sci-fi/manga and grew up doing/teaching martial arts so enjoy a bit of fighting action! In fact, i enjoy anything with a bit of guns, beat-em-up or mass destruction. What games are you into?
Ah, welcome to the forum then and thanks for stopping by to say hi! (Not that I'm a moderator. I feel silly saying that as if its MY forum or somethin haha!). Anyway, nice! what games have you/do you enjoy the most?
Ah nice! No I didn't actually get to see much snow at all, other than abit of what I would call sleet the other night. But I heard there is more snow forcast. That'd be nice anyway (I think hah).
