I believe I se the continuous current. The machine only outputs Direct current (DC)
I have mine set at 80 Hz and seems to work for me. Not sure why I use that Hz other than it works for me.
I always switch the current so this way my feet get treated. I've used it just on positive current for my hands, but still prefer switching polarities at 15 minutes when doing a 30 minute treatment.
