  • For the topical formulation the degree of glycopyrrolate adsorption depends on were it's being applied. I believe its typically used on the face, where the skin layer is thinner, more sensitive, highly vascular, and less of a "barrier" for the drug. The hands in contrast do not have as much circulation, and possess a skin layer that is more difficult for the drug to penetrate. Your daughter may benefit from a low dose oral (tablet or liquid) formulation instead of a topical cream. A knowledgeable dermatologist might provide the best answers.
    Hi there
I notice you say that you are a researcher for glycoppyrolate, can you tell me what you know about the topical use please. My daughter is using a cream 1% and hasn't seen a huge improvement with her hand sweating.Could their be a better outcome with continued use or should I ask the doctor for a higher concentration? Any advice would be appreciated.thanks,Michelle
