  • Hi. :) Yes unbelievably so!!! When your hands and feet have dripped with sweat for so many years you feel like "Nothing could ever be worse than this", but that is so wrong, because compensatory sweating is absolutely horrendous. Not only that but by the nerves been severed you lose so many things that you took for granted before the operations, for example now you can't sweat normally through your underarms or face, so you constantly feel like you're overheating and have a burning sensation over most of your body.
My opinion is that the ETS is a barbaric and immortal surgery, and I wish it had never been invented, so if you're considering it as an option, my advice mate would be don't do it! There are so many non-surgical treatments out there.
    Hello HHDisturbed.

Well things didn't change. I had ETS surgery 3rd May for hands and armpit sweating, but my hands started sweating again 1 and a half month later...It's sad.
Hey AllSweaty. Hope things are going ok. Just reading some of your posts and wondered if you have found any possible solutions? Best wishes! :)
