Yea, I hear ya.

I got hired a few days ago, and the bitch was like, "I know you don't wanna be here and just want the credits for your co-op."

(Well, no shit)

I don't know what to tell ya man, other than good luck.

Did the interview, got the job. Out of all the positions in a big grocery store they where trying to fill, i got cash. I'm anxious but relived that i actually got this far. This i think might actually be what i need to get over my SA. If i get overly anxious i guess I'll try to switch positions or quit. Anyone else ever been a cashier at a large store. I'm just trying to look at it as positively as i can.

congrat to you 4seasons! Wish you good luck in a new workplace.

I am not so courageous at the moment. I supposed to turn up at the interview last friday ( very good job) but I fucked this up once again and I did not arrived. I am really pissed off with myself and beat myself up all friday after that. I am so desperate to get out of my current workplace but at the same time so scared to make any changes in my miserable life.
What is the point sending cv's and application forms when you are not intending to take part in interview while appointed during initial selection process?!

Why I am desperate to quit my job:
I have been working as production operative (semi-skilled) in factory for over 2 years now...The problem is I am over qualified for that job which do not help me with my low self -esteem and confidence. I finished University back in Poland ( faculty of economics), I reckon my English is not so bad ( much better than it used to be). I work with people without any education, they are quite prejudiced against foreigners, some of them are bullies, taking the piss out of my accent and moreover I do not have any opportunity to practise my social skills. The job I do is stultifying and mind- numbing ( machine operator). In addition to all this crap, it is double shift work which means every second week I work early mornings and afrenoons. It makes me really tired. Tiredness contribute to my social anxiety. The only reason I am there is money( they pay decent salary). I am stuck in a rut.
I would love to change environment for more friendly one to have some interactions with different people. Maybe I would meet better people in a new place?

Like you said in one of your previous posts. Your job gonna help you with your SA. Maybe Beggining gonna be difficult for you but in the long term you will improve. Face the things you fear and fear will go away. It is all about practice.
