You can try to make a list of social situations that make you fearful, with anxiety levels ranging from 1 to 10.. So..
Going to the doctor.. 1
Going to the mall.. 2
Going to visit a friend.. 3
Going to a party with people I knew.. 4
Going to see a movie by myself.. 5
Going to a party with people I didn't know.. 6
Give a speech in front of people.. 7
Calling a friend I had a falling out with.. 8
Say yes to someone who asks me on a date.. 9
Asking someone out on a date.. 10
And.. Start from 1.. Do it until you really are not anxious at all..
Then go on to 2... and 3.. and 4... and so on.. List multiple things for each level of anxiety to create some variety..
Do all of these things until you don't feel afraid of any of them anymore.
