I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself...............

If It's up to me it will be. Lets all try an embrace this philosophy. We need to take responsibility for ourselves. It's necessary. Let us all just try to take risks in social situations. We could all further ourselves from such effort.

I know pinker- it can be addictive. We all like to shower in our own problems and then dry ourselves with them. Self pity is quite addictive. Let's stop that now. Let's aspire to be achievers. Let's again look at the list of celebrity people who suffered from SA or SP. That can be aspiring.

I truly believe a hypnotherpaist could cure me as i'm easily enticed and gullibe, ok those arn't exactly respectable traits to have, but if i'm telling myself i'm no good then perhaps its me being gullible to my own mind and believeing it, innit, ay ....

After i read one of those self-help books i feel like a million dollars ..

get what i'm saying ere, ok i'll stop talking like a pirate

or will i

You can try to make a list of social situations that make you fearful, with anxiety levels ranging from 1 to 10.. So..

Going to the doctor.. 1
Going to the mall.. 2
Going to visit a friend.. 3
Going to a party with people I knew.. 4
Going to see a movie by myself.. 5
Going to a party with people I didn't know.. 6
Give a speech in front of people.. 7
Calling a friend I had a falling out with.. 8
Say yes to someone who asks me on a date.. 9
Asking someone out on a date.. 10

And.. Start from 1.. Do it until you really are not anxious at all..
Then go on to 2... and 3.. and 4... and so on.. List multiple things for each level of anxiety to create some variety.. :)

Do all of these things until you don't feel afraid of any of them anymore. :p

Shopping Mall is my biggy freak out scenario and being at parties i dont know the people attending, because they have already developed cliques and inside jokes, its very hard to break the ice ...

why i have no idea, i'm fine at concerts, i suppose everyone is looking at the stage so that's why, other then that i'm fine ..

even seeing a film by myself which i do alot because some people dont want to see that film, i know alot of people who travel alone and spend years visiting cities and they rely on going to pubs to talk to locals by themselves ...

i get more nervous seeing a film with other people because you dont know if your meant to be quiet or when to talk ..when is the right moment

now days i wouldnt care as much but ya get what i'm saying

nobody in reality cares that you are on your own, is what i tell myself

if your with other people nobody cares about that either, nobody is judging you if they do its in a joking manner to show off their egos etc, which is meaningless
