If it wasn't for bad luck...

...id have no luck at all

Do people with SA generally have bad luck because we don't put ourselves out there to find it,or do we just have bad luck?

Last night I felt like recording a song.So I pull up my production software and get started.I didnt feel like actually playing the drums last night,so I used a program I have to create a drum track. Its tedious as hell, but its fun and the beats come out perfect.
This takes me about two hours.I have a guitar sound in my head that will go with it well.So I get the guitar set up.Mic up an amp,get the mixer running smooth....and voila....the program quits. Two hours of dropping in loops to a song in my head all gone.I forgot to save it!!!!

So I pull up an old interface I used before to start over.Everything sounds ok,is up and running...then it wont take the drum loops.Next thing the sound drops. No sound at all.Try and fix it for an hour and nothing.
I go back to the initial program, and now that has no sound either. So I shut it down and walk away with nothing.I had the bass out with a good bass line ready.Started thinking of some good lyrics to sing over it....something didnt want me writing that song

You ever feel like everything is clicking great, and as soon as you go to do something, everything just completely falls to pieces?Like there's someone hacked into my computer just screwing with me...following what i was doing and clicking random stuff to screw with it.It just didnt add up.

They say when you fall off the bike, you have to get right back up and try again...but what do you do when you didnt fall off the bike, but instead the bike just falls apart every time you get on it?

I believe that good things happen to good people and also to happy people, like a run of luck and I also believe that bad luck happens only to bad people and negative people. The problem now is not all negative people of course, are bad as everyone feels the way they do based on something if not they're own fault. I find when I'm on a winning streak I just can't lose and when I start to fail I lose all the positive feelings and it starts a downtrend just based on this alone. In the real world there's no such thing as something bad happening that you can't do anything about. Bad luck is a feeling that only seems to strike when your already down making you feel it more.

This is the issue I have with "bad things only happen to bad people"

Five dead in stage collapse at Indiana State Fair - Yahoo! News

theyre just waiting for the next band.So to say that bad things happen to bad people...would mean that just the right amount of bad people were lined up(no good people)under that piece of the stage before it went over.

I was headed more down the road of "if you never play the lottery, youll never win it"...meaning people with SA arent "out there" as much.Doing things that would up our chances at having a great time.We tend to be more safe, and like to see things coming. So its rare to find any good luck, when your entire routine is always mapped out safely.Odds are much better that in our safe approach, that we see more bad crap happen than good. Were not at the game to win the raffle for the new car.We dont have a good buddy in every profession to make something like a light not working in the hall seem petty.Where one person just calls up their electrician buddy and they share a 12 pack while he re-wires the light...the rest of us see something well more than likely leave broken, before we call around and have a stranger come in that well have to BS with.Just the thought of having to talk to him for hours makes the average person with SA avoid it.

So its not so much that we cant have good luck, its that its alot harder to come by,when youre "strange".
