When I was a 13 year old boy, I lived with my aunt for awhile. My dad died of cancer and my mom was traveling for her job. Anyway, I was due to spend 2 months living with my aunt. I'm in my 30s now and when I was 13, it was the early 1990s. Around this time, fashion was a HUGE thing for teenage girls because movies like Clueless were coming out.
Well, I experienced a few things quite embarrassing because of my aunt. She was desperate to dress me as a girl. I don't know why but she was. Anyway, she disposed of all my boy clothes I packed in my suitcase, and bought me an entire wardrobe laden with stylish "girl" clothes of the time. Since I was 13, fortunately I was old enough to buy my own outfits so I decided to. To my dismay, she took the new clothes I just bought and returned them...AND kept the money, I might add! That was money I had brought with me before I moved there by the way.
Anyway, while the clothes she bought me were very stylish in the eyes of a girl at the time, I was a boy and I was super embarrassed. I had tons of mini skirts in the wardrobe, and bear in mind, when I DID wear shorts as a boy, I wore them to my knees. To wear a skirt that barely made it down to mid-thigh was humiliating. I remember going to school and guys were wolf-whistling at me. On my way to the cafeteria, one guy even told me I had pretty legs. They made kissy sounds at me and called me "sweetie" and "babe." It was so humiliating. My low-cut tops and dresses were very humiliating as well.
I didn't tell my mom about this until way later. My aunt has since passed away, but I'll never forget what she did.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. That was not right of your aunt. You should have told your mother sooner but you just gotta know it's in the past and you don't have to wear girl clothes anymore.

I know that and thank you, but when you're put through an ordeal like that, a part of you can never forget that. It isn't just wearing girl's clothes. So I didn't look out of place and weird, because all I had was girl's clothes, I had to make myself look like a girl as well. Otherwise, I'd look like a circus freak...guys don't look good in girl's clothes unless they wear the makeup and style their hair and everything along with it. Therefore, it was much larger than wearing clothes. Having said that, with all the other stuff that went along with it to hide that I was a boy so I didn't get picked on worse, I had to put on makeup and style my hair and with mini skirts and stuff to wear, I even shaved my legs!
*blush* For those 2 months, I was... *blush* ...a girl. Sorry to blush. It was embarrassing. To deal with the bullying, I just ignored it, or made it out like it didn't bother me. Like when the guy complimented my legs, I know he was doing it to be a **** but I just acted like it didn't bother me and said "thank you." I even changed my name from Kyle to Kayla.
I hated every minute of it, but a part of me can't hide Kayla. I just need to let myself grow from this experience.

I'm sort of hoping you're just trolling because I don't want to believe someone could actually be that F-ed up and cruel. Your aunt sounds like she was absolutely messed in the head. That is abusive. Didn't your mom wonder what happened to your old clothes? And did you just go to a different school for 2 months where people didn't know you, or what?

Awkwardamanda, remember when I said ny aunt disposed of my boy clothes? She locked them in a chest in her room where I couldn't have access to them. Knowing I wouldn't say anything to my mother, she repacked my suitcase with the boy clothes after I moved out of her house.
As far as school goes, I lived in more rural areas growing up. Unlike big cities where the school district was assigned based on where you are in the big city, in farm communities, you can be 20-30 miles away from the neighboring town, and still go to the same school, so therefore...
...in answer to your question, the school was the same even though my aunt lived out of town. The kids continued to pick on me the rest of that year. Remember how I said I was 13? Luckily, that meant I had 1 1/2 more years before I reached high school. The incident happened in 7th grade...toward the end, in 8th grade, the same kids who bullied me still did to an extent, but my true friends stayed my friends! By the time I reached high school, I was in a place with a whole bunch of new kids, by which time, the majority of them didn't know what happened to me.

Thanks OKillian, that's not an awkward offer. If I ever need to bend your ear, I definitely will. I think it's great that you're a crossdresser by choice. I'm very supportive. My situation just wasn't good because I had no choice in the matter.
