Do you switch?

By "switching" I mean does your SA get better & worse at times?
When I'm doing better with my SA, I get extremely depressed (to the point of suicidal thoughts) & when my depression lets up, it seems like my SA gets worse. I know a lot of people say that when they get depressed their SA gets worse... but I was just wondering how it was for others.

That's interesting. Mine seem to go in the same direction. Right now, I feel that I'm in one of my worse Depressions, and although it intensified my SA, my SA has been worse when I was less depressed. But for me, the play off each other and both become worse.

It usually occurs in episodes for me dependant on the situation, but shyness has always been a constant. I was fine throughout the day until an hour ago when I had to order food from a waitress. My ability to formulate coherent sentences dropped to the level of an animal squawk. At that point, I was just making sounds with my mouth. I bolted out of the place leaving a trail of sweat behind me. UGHHHH I'm an effing weirdo.

I think Depression will definitely have an affect on your social state.
