Stalling Out

It always seems that after the first couple of times after meeting something new it feels like I just stall out when it comes to furthering the relationship. Me being in college the first two encounters usually involve discussing classroom subject matter and little delving into personal stuffs. However, once that time has past it seems like I just stall out and don't know what to say. Things start to become awkward and before you know I lose my chance to make a friend.

It's so very frustrating.

this happens to me all the time.. I guess it;s cuz we are sure of what we say about school stuff.. we know we won;t make an idiot out of ourselves.. but later on, SA doesn;t let us make small talk..or any other kind..

I know exactly what you mean...Ive had this happen as well. People seem to come and go without much fanfare. Its pretty much seems normal to me. I figure if I'm meant to be friends with someone, it will happen eventually.
