Permanently mutes?

This may seem strange but with SA are we always gonna be a mute to society?
I've brought this up cause I've built my confidence in the recent weeks, that I assumed I may be able to talk and get a few words in a conversation, but it has not done anything to my conversation skills whatsoever. And so I thought, am I really gonna be quiet all the time? Are childhood years the most important time to build that skill, hence why I'm so bad at it?

It appears that when I take Adderall or Ritalin that talking becomes easy for some reason.

the way i see it
--childhood= no control over life...just s*** happens and you get experiences and either you r lucky to learn or not=important
--the next years(i dont know the word)=control, opportunity to fix things=most important
