Hi!
Am I the only one suffring from both anxiety and depresssion? If any of you have experienced this....which one should I try to stop? I feellike my social anxiety is creating or at least feeding my depression...
thanks:)

Far from the only one, I'm sure.

My therapists seem to all agree that depression affects everything, as can diet, sleep and physical health problems and vice versa; they could affect how clinically depressed you become.
The key is to try to figure out a 'root cause' and focus on that first-- solve one problem at a time.

Once you are less depressed, you may find yourself being less anxious naturally.
Or perhaps the only reason you are feeling sad is that you are not social-- and being more social will help you to feel more positive, I guess?
Baby steps.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

if you read through more than a handful of posts on this forum, you'll recognize that depression is a pretty common comorbidity

so much so that many of us here have trouble understanding how anyone with social anxiety can be happy, cheerful, and positive at all
