I have a job right now in Macy's, and it was absolute hell for me in the beginning, but I gradually got used to it, but there were still days that I was scared of something happening that I wouldn't be able to handle and would look like an idiot and whatever. And recently my previous English professor recommended me for a tutoring job at my college, and its just hell all over again. It requires way too much socializing with both students and the other tutors and instructors. I was practically dying today ugh.
But since practically everything is online now, I think the process for applying for jobs is much easier. So in terms of your question, I think starting to look online is the best option, because majority of the time if you directly go into a store asking if theyre hiring they tell you to apply online anyway (major companies do at least).
