What jobs are good for people with SA?

I've been unemployed for a few months now and a lot of the job openings i see at my university usually require good social skills and working in a fast-paced environment. What jobs can people with SA feel comfortable working?

theres no job that isnt gonna require you to socialise is some shape or form, ur best to find a job u actualy want, rather than one because its less socialising.

Yeah your right their isnt a job that will let you stay in the corner and be alone, they'll probly think that you are slacking. The truth is thats how the world works and posting a comment saying what jobs are good for people with SA is flawed in my opinion. Firstly by letting your shyness rule your life and lets face it people thats what it is, its not an illness or a disease its an affliction yes, but it was learned and it can be unlearned

oach that aint gonna go down well here sonny lol (im Uk-lovely).

but i agree that u cant let something like that rule your life. otherwise your just gonna create a life of self impossed missery. people should go dpselfhelp.com. that place is amazing and the people are inspiring for sure, u get alot of SA people on there with DP as well, but completely different attituded towards the hole thing for sure. thats not a put down, just a observation.

I've seen some guy on youtube who has sp and he said that he's lucky because he works in the projection booth in the theaters, so you might like that one. Sure you need to talk to some people, but you're mostly alone there. Another possible may be is stockroom in retail stores?

But you know our greatest enemy is our comfort zone. It's better to do something that scares you. I know it's easier said than done but we can't hide forever. I'm working on overcoming this fear. It's really hard because it's mental. I wish I had a different problem. *sigh*

the way i see it is we've all been to school where you spend each day with 20+ people not to mention all the people your exposed to in the other classes, we've done it for years and years ...

hardly any jobs are as social as that ..unless you are a waiter or in customer service, but the people you speak to you arn't locked in a room with for hours and hours ..even an office job, or a warehouse job isn't as full on as being at school ...

so don't shun a job because you think you wont handle it, if you've experianced school you can handle anything ...

focus your career on your passions
