Someone I know who does some beautiful artwork is in the middle of drawing a set of tarot cards. I'd kind of like to learn the details of tarotship and to be able to use them, but when I'd actually do so I've no idea. entertainment but not to take too seriously.

The only 'supernatural' system I really don't like is mediumship - the pretence that a person can communicate with the dead. That's horribly exploitative and should, frankly, be banned.

I was given a pack of tarrot cards a few years back as a present. I can do a basic layout and I read them for friends and family occasionally. I find they help me when i feel like evrything is getting too much, I usually get answers that correspond to the question I ask.

I never take card readings as gospel, they just give me a different way to look at things and I kind of like the idea of someone watching over me.

I read tarot cards for myself and If find them very helpful/informative. Even if you don't believe they have magicallness to them, they still make you sort of think deeply about your life. Personally I think they sort of get into to your subconsciousness. Well I like them anyways.

I think that there are some people who are able to communicate on some level with the dead. I'm sort of on the fence about ghosts and such, but I know a few people whom I trust deeply that claim to be able to communicate with spirits. I find it quite believable that there are people who are more connected to another level of this world. But I think the people who try to make a living off of it are really quite horrible. John Edwards makes me really sad, watching his shows is just awful. He's a big phony who takes advantage of people's grief.
