Was this a panic attack?

So this happened about a year ago.
I was playing an open game of paintball with my two friends. We were standing around waiting for it to start because there was some sort of delay, like someone got hurt or something. So im standing there with my gun, and then i started breathing hard and i became super cold, I started thinking that everyone around me wanted to kill me. My friend noticed me shaking and breathing had and asked me what was wrong, i said that everyone wanted to hurt me. Then i rushed to the bathroom they had there and sat down for a few minutes just curled up burying my head in my knees.

Was this a panic attack?

Let's see, paranoia, need to escape, nervous physical symptoms. Yes, I do believe this could've been a panic attack.

Agreed. I think you had a panic attack.

Has it happened since? Do you suffer those symptoms anymore?

I think it's happened a few times since, not very often at all though.

After the episode at paintball i started avoiding place slike that, so i haven't been in a situation in which i would have a panic attack.

Maybe it was an isolated incident? You said it doesn't happen often, so maybe going back wouldn't cause a panic attack like last time.

I had to work up to that one game anyway because i was so nervous, so after that happened i stopped going. I might try going back, if only as an experiment.

You worked up to it the first time and you managed to get there. Sure, you had a panic attack, but next time you'll know the drill and you'll be a lot more familiar with the area and what to do, so it shouldn't be as scary for you. I hope you do go back.
