Zoloft - how long time for effect?

If I start taking Zoloft now according to prescribed routine when will I feel effect?

When I started taking Zoloft a few years back, it took about 5-6 weeks before I started feeling the effects. Hang in there!

Thanks for reply and encouragement. I started today on Sertraline, an equivalent they said at the pharmacy but a lot cheaper. By mistake I took a 50mg tablet instead of taking half of it, but I do not feel too bad now, three hours later. But I will stick tomorrow to the recommendation 25mg for a week, then 50mg.

That is what I am taking Sertraline and I do not think there is any difference then Zoloft. Hope it is the med that works for you. It worked well for me. Good Luck.
