Funny thoughts in a dream state
Remembering something Mum told me really early in life, because she 'liked it' for uncertain reasons.
As the same I knew about Mum; that she didn't know much.
I was told that I'd need it one day.
Something I can be sure of is that the speed of my memory (1second, 5 seconds, 10 seconds) usually fails me. My responsiveness to those around me is dysfunctional. Reaction to any stranger I speak to (on the phone) is useless. This is how interviews will never work. The only person I know is me.
My long term memory serves me, surprisingly, after near-fatal problems. I remember everything that Mum told me, in the forest. Medium term, whatever it may be. Being alert, or capable of 'being nice' or being aware how to respond to a fresh situation, such as an immediate question is lacking. eg. 'how are you?'
I know exactly how I was when I was 4. And every day after that, until I finished school and left home.
