I ask This With No Meaning Of Offence BUT Why Do the Gay/Bi People i Talk To say after they tell me they are gay or Bi "But I Dont Advertise It".

Surely If You Are PROUD To Be Gay/Bi, You Should Have No Problem saying to people or putting it on your Social Networking Site But Instead it is the response of"But I dont Advertise It".

Ok....

Can ANYONE Explain that to me?

well, also too, some people aren't out to everyone in their family.

also too, they just probably don't want to be just known as the "gay guy" or the lesbian. they want people to know them for other than things than their sexual orientation.

i don't put my sexual orientation or my relationship status on my profile either, but i don't think my personal life is anybody's business. and if i was a lesbian, i wouldn't want people to find out through facebook lol.
