The best way to wish it away is to get rid of the things that you dislike about yourself. If you believe that you are overweight, then exercise, drink a lot of water and eat properly; if you think that you spend too much time at home, then grab a camera, go outside, shoot photography and show it to people or do some volunteer work, help others, etc.
Most people with social anxiety have something they dislike about themselves. If you magically get rid of the anxiety, it doesn't mean your self-esteem will improve and so forth.
