good morning

I would like to know, what type of country do you come from. I do not come from an English-language country - you can probably see it from my language style. It probably is not very English, but I still learn it.

I come from Baltic sea area, although my family has some remote Norway roots. I do not want to tell more, because I am a bit paranoid. :stu

Give your votes here, I am very interesting if many ppl here are not English-language country livers. I am out of English-language area, but this forum is quit OK.

And why do you visit this forum if you are not English-languge? I do it because I wanna to improve my English, although in my country there are little SA forums.

good bye

I came from China to share my recovery experience here, but sometimes I found it is difficult for me to be understood, my English is OK, but still a little bit difficult for me to talk about those psychological things

There are no sites about this kind of thing where I come from - I think the average person considers these kind of problems to be "nonsense".

The Spanish version of this site is crappy as it gets with people using multiple accounts to harass each other, flamewars extending for pages and people spamming explicit pr0n images just to prove the moderator is useless. The other day I even found a pm from a guy I hadn't heard of from months saying he hated me and was going to kill me if I posted there again; which is silly 'cause I hadn't been posting for months. Most of the members that made any relevant contribution to that site went off to a forum of their own creation which supposedly is "properly ran" - I take that last thing with a pinch of salt.

Anyway. . . I think that if I'm going to be posting about this kind of stuff I might as well not let my english get rusty.

Definitely Slavonic, which I'm proud of. :D

@Synapse: How are things in Argentina? You've the winter now there, haven't you? :?:

Don't worry about such people, as that one you've written about. Some are still childish, what to do...

Cheers

As usual, it sucks. This year it snowed again after over half a century and idiotic economic tampering by the goverment means there's an overall energy shortage to face the cold.

People pretend to be cool and laid back; yet they are bound to vote for president the wife of our current executive chief of state - a reelection of sorts; of the guy that this very year ravaged (just as he does with the division of powers) the organization that publishes unemployment and inflation data in order to force them to present obviously false values to make his administration look good.
The crime and corruption scandals we are seeing lately are gross; such a point of ridicule and grotesqueness has be reached it's hard to describe how appalling it is to watch the news; people literally running around with bags containing thousands in notes; now the guy is trying to pull strings to put the strongest opposition candidate for next presidential election in jail because some mobster of his "took offense" to something she once said. . .

I see. Thanks for the fresh information. Well, you've pretty funny (or rather really not funny, actually) situation...

We haven't many news from Argentina here in Poland, I'm curious if you have any news of Poland there. :?:
Some mass media tell some real nonsenses about us - actually, we have some political incidents which are kind of outrageous, nevertheless the rubbish told by some people abroad is absurd and kind of scandalic thing sometimes. But stereotypes have always been. :?

Cheers :)

I don't specifically recall news from Poland but there may have been. Generally we receive news from neighbouring countries and/or things that may supposedly have an impact on us and/or that are terrible on their own.

That's an accurate term.

I think it's rare for a president to kick investors out of the country but this guy just terrorized Exxon away and wants to put the local Shell CEO in jail. A couple of years ago he had sent unofficial mobs wielding crowbars and stones to take over Shell gas stations because he said the prices they offered were too high.

He practically bought the state oil company through a number of intemediaries. So basically no company can survive unless it does some deal with him and behind his demagogic left-wing discourse there's just a huge money-funnel into his pocket.

His wife's capaign, which includes expensive and mediatic trips abroad, is payed by our taxes.

I was born in the USA but ethnically, I come from a non-english speaking nation, the most hated country in the world. Hated enough that you can look it up in a poll but I won't post it here.

Average "joe" can be completely lobotomized by watching TV, in one month time- i think. Or reading CNN news and other zilion clones of it.
You ought not bother head with "hated" nations and stupid people.
Ofcourse, if you are not stupid yourself.
