Xanax XR is working great for me, but I want to give some therapy another shot. I have been to a lot of psychotherapists over the years, but either they sucked and tried to be a "counselor" or I didn't really do the homework 100 percent or even close. I'm at a point in my life where I'm really tired of this and I'm willing to do a lot to improve my anxiety and health in general. I'm exercising 2 hours a day. That's great for my body, but even though it is supposed to help with anxiety, I haven't noticed any effect. In fact I feel a little more anxious after exercising. Has relaxation tapes(1 hour a day or more really necessary?), CBT or something else helped? Anything that can be done at home instead of paying a ton of $ to a psychotherapist? I have spent enough with these people over the years....
