What did you or someone you know used to call things when you were a child?

I used to take care of my ex's little girl - she was 5 and she used to call her freckles kisses from the sun :) I thought this was so cute.

Awww that is cute!

When I was younger I used to call the little fuzzy pilly things on blankets "feckies". Yes, it sounds like the f-word, I know :p My dad called them that for whatever reason. He used to make up weird and silly names for things (like mac and cheese - "foopy goop"). So I got it from him.

Also, one of my little sisters called breastfeeding "bite", because my mother used to tell her not to bite, haha. She started saying, "A bite, a bite", meaning "I want to nurse". She would say it in public too, and my mom would get so embarrassed. My other little sister called breastfeeding "two bee side", having to do with what side she was nursing on... but I'm not going into any more detail, haha. I think I've disturbed you enough :D

Everyone in my family would call a video game controller a "paddle". Referencing the Atari 2600 controllers. Nowadays it bothers the fuzz outta me when they use that term.
