What book are you currently reading?

Ross Kemp in Afghanistan, he is most famous for the TV version but I'm just reading his book of it. Basically he is a former actor turned journalist who goes out to the frontlines with a cameraman and British soldiers, joins them on the battlefields and talks to them about soldier life and things.

Oh and it's non-fiction lol

Hehe, despite the dangers of Afghanistan, he always looked more afraid when he interviewed certain people on his 'Gangs' programme.

I have the book about that,there is a lot more in it,where on tv they had to edit certain stuff out.I would definitely recommend it if you liked the series

But yeah I think the most scared I saw Ross Kemp was when they went to an Mara Salvatrucha jail.. Lovely sort of place where they cut your head off and play football with it if you snitch

One of the top gang members took a dislike to Ross and it shows 0.o Ross apparently looked the splitting image of a cop who had arrested and beaten this guy when he was a kid.

One of the best books I've read in years, despite being a bit chunky at 1200 pages!
