What activities can I do to improve my vocal confidence?

I'm sick of being too scared to speak up with people. My mind is blank, and my voice is locked out when I'm with a group of people. Sometimes I just want myself to say something, getting them all to listen. But instead the only noise I make is me screaming inside at myself :(

What sort of things do people recommend so I can brave up and don't worry about being louder? Like our there any sports or activities which would benefit me?

I did a public speaking course, which was beneficial, but speaking up in front of the audience and reciting a script isn't natural in a social situation

I would say reading would help improve your vocabulary, which will help you convey your thoughts to people more easily. Try and relax and BE confident. Trust. Confidence is a must, happiness is a plus.

Also i'd say working out would benefit you. This can help you build up your confidence and release all your stress. Join a gym or something, it's good way to meet people and get fit.

Hm I had the same problem.
My suggestion would be to keep in mind the message you want to get across to them the whole time so you don't have time to doubt/question yourself/wonder if you'll get their attention etc., take a deep breath and just start talking. Even if it doesn't come out perfect the first few times at least your voice is heard. I also made it a habit to read things loud and clear when I'm alone to get into the habit of it. Please let me know if this helps.
